WordPress developers design, implement and manage websites using WordPress, a free, open-source content management system (CMS).

WordPress Developers Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficient and exceptional WordPress Developer
• Integrity, Honesty, and Loyalty
• Experience in developing WordPress websites, including theme and plugin customization
• Must be skilled in PHP/MySQL/Javascript and other related technologies
• Ability to work with Linux, frameworks, and other development tools
• Good knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/JS development ideally with considerable experience working with complex WordPress projects
• Experience integrating third-party API
• Sinhala / English, written and spoken, is mandatory
• Ability to learn new technologies rapidly
• Ability to work independently and achieve challenging targets
• Ability to work as a team player
• Additional Qualifications
• Knowledge or experience in Front End Design will be an added qualification
• Must be close to Galle Town Area.

Requirements:

• Designing and developing the website’s architecture as well as building new features and functionalities
• Building and implementing new themes and plugins
• Building the website front-end and conducting website performance tests
• Analyzing website performance and troubleshooting errors
• Handling the backend of the website, including database and server integration
• Ensuring high-performance and managing all the technical aspects of the CMS
• Maintain well-documented and reusable code

Responsibilities:

• Write client-side code to create super-fast, easy-to-use, web-based applications which include websites for both desktop and mobile browsers, and hybrid in-app pages
• Optimize web applications to maximize speed and scale
• Build libraries and frameworks that support complex web applications, speed up development efficiency and improve code quality
• Contribute creativity and insight to solve both technical and business challenges
• Research and promote new technologies and best practices within the team

The ability to interact with team members and customers in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role.
